Raised in the Islands since a young child, her love and appreciation for its beauty can be seen in every brushstroke. She is devoted to the preservation of the unique flora and fauna of the Islands. She studies living Native Birds at the Keahou BirdConservation Center in Volcano, Hawai’i, and Extinct Bird Specimens at Museums around the world. Dedicated to Peace, she is a member of the American State Department Art in Embassies Program. Self-taught, she uses no resist or wax, only pure Watercolour on the Highest Quality Silk.
